Enredes
Enredes: Transformación de redes de pesca en arte. | Enredes

This project was born from a dream transforming marine waste into sustainable treasures.

A romantic and passionate initiative that highlights something deeply important and rooted in the history of our city, Sanlúcar de Barrameda: fishing, through the skilled hands of our net makers and their fishing gear, which transform nets into works of art woven with stories of the sea.

This project illustrates how it is possible to unite innovation and tradition, creating a cleaner and more prosperous future for the planet and for future generations, by crafting exclusive pieces from these ancient fishing techniques in the hands of artisan net makers.

https://enredessostenibles.es/

Sustainable Practices: Does it integrate biodiversity conservation, pollution reduction (plastics, discharges), or the sustainable use of marine resources?

Contribution to Circularity: Does the project use by-products or waste (for example, abandoned fishing nets), or minimize its carbon/water footprint in the marine environment?

Climate Adaptation and Mitigation: Does the project help coastal communities adapt to the effects of climate change (for example, coastal erosion), or reduce greenhouse gas emissions?
