INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES
Due to the entry into force of the relevant amendment to the “Information Society Services Law” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of users of all websites that use non-essential cookies before they browse them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by Web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES
According to the EU directive, cookies that require the user’s informed consent are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?
Regarding the types of cookies, there are five main groups:
- Analytical cookies: collect information about how the website is used.
- Social cookies: necessary for external social networks.
- Affiliate cookies: allow tracking of visits coming from other websites with which the website has an affiliate agreement (affiliate companies).
- Advertising and behavioral cookies: collect information about the user’s preferences and personal choices (retargeting).
- Technical and functional cookies: strictly necessary for the use of the website and for the provision of the contracted service.
COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE
_pmpro_visit: Technical cookie. Used to store the subscription type session. Expires at the end of the session.
_cfduid: Technical cookie. Used to identify trusted web traffic. Does not correspond to any user ID in the web application. Expires in 1 year.
_gat: Google Analytics analytical cookie. Used to limit the percentage of requests. Duration: 1 minute.
_ga: Google Analytics analytical cookie. Used to enable the unique visits tracking function. The first time a user enters the website through a browser, this cookie will be installed. When the user re-enters the website with the same browser, the cookie will consider it to be the same user. Only if the user changes browsers will they be considered a different user. Expires 2 years after the last update.
_gid: Google Analytics analytical cookie. Used to distinguish users. Expires after 24 hours.
_bgc: Technical cookie. Checks whether a pop-up with the legal data protection text should be shown to the user. Expires after 2 hours.
_bgccls: Technical cookie. Checks whether the user has closed the legal/GDPR text pop-up. Expires after 7 minutes.
_phpsessid: Technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session identifier. Deleted when the browser is closed.
_cdp-cookies-plugin-wp: Technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the value indicating whether cookie installation has been accepted. Expires 1 year after the last update.
_visited: Cookie used to identify the user and collect their activity on the website. Expires 1 year after the last update.
_wordpress_logged_in: Technical cookie. This cookie is necessary for WordPress. It remembers if you are authenticated on the site while navigating between pages. Expires after 15 days.
_wfwaf-authcookie: This cookie is set by the WordPress security plugin “Wordfence”. It is used to authenticate the user’s login request. Expires after 24 hours.
_uint: Advertising cookie. Used to store user activity in interest tags. Expires after 15 days.
_wordpress_test_cookie: Technical cookie. Used by the WordPress content manager to check whether the browser has cookies enabled. Expires at the end of the session.
REVOCATION OF CONSENT TO INSTALL COOKIES. HOW TO DELETE COOKIES FROM THE BROWSER
Chrome
- Select the Tools icon
- Click Settings
- Click Show Advanced Settings
- In the “Privacy” section, click Content Settings
- Delete cookies: Click All cookies and site data…
- Do not allow cookies to be stored
- Click Clear browsing data (empty cache)
- Close and restart the browser

Internet Explorer. Version 11
- Select Tools | Internet Options
- Click the General tab
- In the “Browsing history” section, click Delete browsing history on exit
- Select Delete files
- Select Delete cookies
- Click Delete
- Click OK
- Close and restart the browser

- Select Firefox | History | Clear Recent History
- Next to “Details”, click the downward arrow
- Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active logins
- Using the “Time range to clear” dropdown menu, select Everything
- Click Clear Now
- Close and restart the browser
You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox Preferences, in the History section available in Tools > Options > Privacy.
